Job Description
SmartPro are working with an established Client with the RCT area who are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer , who will ensure that machinery and equipment runs effectively and efficiently and to provide engineering support to all production equipment and working towards continuous improvement.
Hours: Rotating between days 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday, and afternoons 3pm to 11pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility to shift changes is required!
Duties of the Multi Skilled Engineer :
- Trouble shooting, maintenance and setting of high speed production equipment.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance of machinery.
- Checking and Calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Carrying out various projects as required, including new line/machine installation.
- Consistently striving for Continuous Improvement.
- Maintaining stock control procedure on consumables & machine parts.
- Communicating with internal departments over engineering activity and progress.
Requirements of the Multi Skilled Engineer :
- Experience of maintenance & repair of high speed production equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC electrical control systems.
- Knowledge of high speed production equipment, pneumatic controls and circuitry.
- Time Served Engineer with good electrical and mechanical aptitude or hold relevant industry qualification.
