From troubleshooting to planned preventive maintenance (PPM), as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be hands-on with specialist machinery, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. It's a dynamic role where problem-solving skills and technical expertise are used daily, and you will be a key player contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our production processes. Our engineers have a varied role, so you’ll get the chance to use a variety of skills.

About the Role

We will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to enable you to safely and effectively work as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer where you will:

  1. Carry out fault finding, repair and maintenance work on plant and equipment
  2. Ensure that repairs are carried out promptly
  3. Check and ensure we have a safe working environment
  4. Use Agility (CMMS) for workload and fault reporting
  5. Complete reports/paperwork accurately
  6. Carry out all planned preventative maintenance
  7. Assist with the installation of new plant equipment
  8. Attend regular training
  9. Promote Lean Thinking
  10. Maintain and order stock/spares/materials
  11. Carry out risk assessments
  12. Be a health & safety advocate

Hours of Work: Sunday to Tuesday (9 to 5) and Sunday to Wednesday (9 to 5)

About You

You will be an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer, with experience working in a production environment. You’ll have high standards for health & safety and a passion for continuous improvement.

You will also have/be:

  1. Apprentice-trained in a mechanical discipline
  2. Strong knowledge of maintenance experience and diagnostics of hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical control systems
  3. NVQ 3 or equivalent
  4. IT skills – working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
  5. Strong communication skills
  6. Good organization skills
  7. Awareness of IOSH is desirable but not essential
