THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join our client on a permanent contract with an immediate start. THE ROLE
- Perform mechanical systems fault finding, overhaul and repair
- Carry out pneumatic and hydraulic systems fault finding and repair
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to schedule
- Machine shop, use of manual lathe and miller operation
- Installation and commissioning of electro/mechanical processes
- Maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment
THE PERSON
Essential
- Minimum of time served in maintenance engineering to NVQ Level 3.
- Computer literate – Microsoft Office. Desirable
- HNC in Engineering
- Possession of an IPAF licence, MEWP.
- FLT licence, whilst desirable, will be provided in-house.
Desirable
- Welding using MIG and stick.
- Conduct electrical fault finding using electrical drawings to diagnose and repair hard wiring faults.
- Perform PLC fault finding (Ideally Siemens TIA Portal although other PLC experience will be considered).
