Job Description: As a Multi Trade Contractor with rail experience, you will play a critical role in the maintenance, repair, and construction of rail infrastructure. You will utilise your diverse skill set to perform a variety of tasks, ensuring the safety and efficiency of rail projects. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Key Responsibilities: Completion of redecoration and fit-out projects on rail infrastructure. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on rail infrastructure. Perform multi-disciplinary tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and concrete work as needed. Work on your own or with your team members to ensure project deadlines are met and work is completed to the highest standards. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered. Engineering/Out-of- Hours working to complete certain projects. Requirements Proven experience as a Multi Trade Contractor with a strong background in Station refurbishment projects Comprehensive knowledge of rail safety standards and regulations. Proficiency in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and concrete work. Ability to read and interpret scoping documents and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications or qualifications in multiple trades.
