Description Overview In this role, you will effectively plan & carry out account management in order to achieve turnover & gross profit budgets within Perrigo UK's range of products within a given account portfolio.You will also identify & deliver new business opportunities and plan supply of an agreed range, identifying turnover and profit capabilities. Scope of the Role Plan & prioritise customer sales activities and achieve agreed business aims, including costs, product forecasts and sales for agreed customers.  Retain overall responsibility for profit, loss and growth in their key accounts meeting targets set out at the start of the business year.  An Inherent focus on the P&L and the impact of their decisions on the profitability for the company is vital in all processes/activities undertaken. Maintain customer account plans for individual accounts and ensure day to day communication with retailer buying teams and other relevant account contacts e.g. Supply, Legal, Marketing etc  Build and maintain close business relationships with key customers through appropriate communication to strengthen Perrigo credibility and influence with the customer.  Help develop sustainable, focused solutions to customer issues building long term partnership Manage any supply issues with customers through contact within customer and Perrigo supply chains to minimise any adverse events and seek to ensure through changes to forecasting or recommending changes to procedures that the issues are not repeated. Experience Required Relevant Commercial & Business Awareness transferable to the Self Care industry Knowledge of both the Grocery and Pharmacy/Drug retail sector from an account management perspective. Knowledge of the Healthcare sector from a Store Brand and Branded perspective Ability to analyse, interpret and disseminate data accurately, educated to degree level ideally in a related business discipline, however experience in our marketplace is key. Commercial & Business Awareness. Knowledge of Grocery & Pharmacy/Drug and the routes to market within, e.g. Wholesale, Cash & Carry, Symbol Groups, plus an ability and desire to understand others less obvious such as Forecourts , Convenience, Vending etc. Knowledge of the Healthcare Sector from a Store Brand and Branded perspective. General business administration skills Numeracy and Literacy - capable of writing cohesive reports/proposals for review by senior management and undertaking data analysis of core market and account data.
