Philex sells our own branded and third-party distribution suppliers products into big national retailers and also smaller independent buying groups with a particular emphasis on DIY products.
We are looking for an energetic, driven, and intelligent account manager to drive our business with national retailers. We have trading history since 1982, accounts set up, products ready to be sold and adequate appetite and infrastructure within the business to bring in new ranges and marketing materials to support you in developing these key accounts. Your job is to create and execute the strategy with these national accounts that increases sales and margin:
- Manage large retail accounts consisting of big national retailers.
- Building strong, strategic relationships that help drive rapid growth.
- Negotiate pricing, retail price analysis, maintain margin expectations.
- Protecting current relationships and contracts
THE PERSON
Minimum 3 years B2B sales experience preferably with national retailers.
Experience in DIY and/or distribution of brands would be a plus.
Excellent commercial, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Empathetic with an ability to appreciate what our suppliers and customers want
Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills (Excel and PowerPoint) are essential.
Hybrid role but a minimum 2 days per week office based
Salary: From £65,000.00 - £75,000.00 per year, plus uncapped OTE based on commission on accounts, estimated to be a minimum of £20,000 plus per year
