job details Job Title: National Account ManagerLocation: Home Based (covering the UK & Ireland) ...Hours: Full TimeSalary: £50k-£60k DOE + 20-25% OTE sales bonus (paid monthly) + car or car allowance of £500 per monthPosition Overview:The National Account Manager is responsible for revenue creation, execution, and developing client accounts. In this home-based role, the National Account Manager oversees a specific client base using goal-oriented planning and execution to achieve revenue targets and objectives.Essential Functions and Basic DutiesSelling Sensitech's offering of integrated information management systems and temperature-monitoring devices that provide customised in-transit solutions for environmentally sensitive and high-value products within the territoryDeveloping vertical sales opportunities in existing accounts as well as securing new business from a client base in the food industryDeveloping strategic plans for large multi-national accounts and implementing them to meet and exceed the sales goals of the territory;Acting as primary communication conduit between the customer and the companyCollaborating with sales colleagues in other regions and geographies to support harmonised global account managementActively managing QBRs/regular business reviews with larger accounts in the territory;Assisting management in defining future market needs through direct collaboration with the Product Marketing Management teamProviding rolling forecasts of projected sales on a monthly and quarterly basisQualificationsBachelor's degree in food sciences, business, or another related discipline;A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated sales experience within the Food and/or Retail markets, promoting the sales of consumables, equipment, and/or services; the ideal candidate has had experience selling to major food (retail) chains; alternatively, he/she has sold perishables and/or logistics services for perishable (food) products; Experience selling at Head Office level is highly desiredStrong systems skills and knowledge of MS Office applications and use of SalesForce.comConfident and target-oriented individual with the desire to delight the customerSelf-starter with solid organisation skills, attention to detail, and exemplary time management skillsValid driving licence and willingness to travel to the London area frequentlyAbility and willingness to travel extensively in the assigned territory (up to 70%) as well as to the Sensitech EMEA office in Sassenheim, the Netherlands; occasional intercontinental travel on a case-by-case basisIn possession of exemplary ethical standards and business practices.Beneficial Skills & ExperienceExperience in selling to the UK & Ireland Retail Markets, Food Service MarketsSolid understanding of supply chain and logistics within the UK & IrelandHome-based and based in the UKPrevious experience working for a multinational companyTo apply please apply using the button below.
