At Johnsons Leisure, we are planning to continue the expansion of our growing retail operations across the UK, whilst improving the retail experience we provide. As a result of this expansion programme, a role has become available to regionally manage our retail branches, ensuring efficiency and upholding brand standards, whilst adhering to the company’s goals and ambitions.

With a current turnover of over £20 million, we will be expanding our portfolio of products and retail outlets, and the role would involve being instrumental in this process, along with maximising all sales opportunities.

 

This person will lead a team of branch managers (currently 19) and play a significant role in the effective working and tactical aspects of multiple branches. You will be responsible for driving sales, exceeding expected targets, alongside boosting customer service and interaction through achievement of KPIs.

 

The Johnsons brand is renowned for quality, well designed, premium outdoor leisure goods, and, in our branch displays and showrooms, we offer a varied selection of superior lifestyle products for our consumers to purchase for their outdoor space.

 

The role will require you to lead your team to drive and deliver a best-in-class brand and sales experience, to design and deploy the tactics to achieve the strategy. The delivery and execution in store will be driven by you through a structure of Area and Branch managers, taking charge to ensure overall performance and profitability.

 

You will be expected to deliver a sales, margin, and P & L budget for all our retail operations and advocating the uppermost standards of retail execution.

 

Requirements to succeed:

 

Retail branch management experience is essential, paired with a good knowledge of premium products and trends. A key role for our business, you will be encouraged to bring innovative ideas to the way we operate, specifically within the premium outdoor lifestyle sector. You will be a capable people leader with a proven track record of motivating and developing successful teams, demonstrating the ability to drive sales and nurture talent through people development and progressive planning. Excellent organisational and time management skills are vital.

 

What are we offering:

 

The basic salary is dependent on experience but expected to be in the region of a competitive £55k, plus benefits. Additional bonuses will be available, linked to performance, allowing a possible OTE of more than £75k.
