Job Description

3 years. Our bold ambition: the time in which we aim to establish AAA/Novartis as one of the main players in a completely new therapeutic area!

Build and lead a high-performing team that will convert a promising and innovative portfolio into a mainstream treatment modality, and re-invent the way we build relationships with our customers in a post-COVID environment.

 Achieve key financial metrics including sales targets, top-line growth and market share
 Provide ongoing insights and recommendations to the Disease Area Head on how to continue to improve the success and profitability of the franchise
 Develop alignment between the sales and other functions to drive business results
 Establish strong relationships within a comprehensive network of regional and national accounts and stakeholders
 Support negotiations with customers
 Drive the desired behaviours and accountabilities across the Key Account Managers team
 Drive sales force effectiveness related activities including incentive plan preparation, quota setting, territory alignment, resource allocation, expense management, CRM execution
 Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
 Maintain records and measure of individual and district sales performance.
 Proactively identify changes in healthcare, delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
 Work cross functionally in developing business plans

 5 years + proven sales experience within pharma sector
 Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members.
 Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
 Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements and issues.
 Experience selling to NHS secondary care

Desirable requirements:
ABPI qualified
