Your role at Sun Pharma For our dynamic growing, innovative Branded Pharma division we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Manager who will develop the sales strategy and planning for a new product in Ophthalmology. You will lead the in-field team by driving short term sales targets and long-term objectives. Territory mapping based on sales/data and reporting needs to be established to optimize the sales team’s performance. You will lead the local launch (preparation) process for our new asset in close cooperation with the EU head office. Execution of local tactics & Congresses will also be part of your journey. Key Responsibilities: Optimize resource utilization by leading and coaching the Sales Team performance including setting sales targets and incentive schemes and Key Performance Indicators in order to continuously improve sales performance. Deliver sales performance through sales team leadership and implementation of operational marketing activities implementation of in order to maximize or exceed brand sales and margin within expense budgets. Effectively manage and execute all local sales and marketing (congress and promo meetings) related brand activities as per EU Brand Plan, such as implementation of commercial Brand strategy and tactical Brand/sales activities. Search, gather and analyse market information in order to stay up to date and ensure relevant information is shared with the Sun pharmaceuticals organization and all internal stakeholders are provided with up-to-date insights about the market to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer perspectives through regular engagement with stakeholders (e.g. in-field visits) Execute multichannel customer interactions, tailoring information based on HCPs needs and priorities and via HCPs channel preference to build trustful & long-term customer relationships by applying patient-focused interactions. Liaise with EU HQ in order to integrate EU strategy / tactics into the local brand and its execution and to facilitate the alignment with the EU brand vision and strategic objectives. Continuously encourage team members’ collaboration and foster team spirit. Take accountability and responsibility for team activities and processes (organize / chair / facilitate team meetings) Collaboration with market access lead UK Develop and coach talent and build succession plans in order to ensure continuous high performance and engaged talent pipeline in Sales and Marketing. Qualifications Bachelor's (minimum) or Master’s degree required. Minimum 3 years experience in Ophthalmology preferred. Proven track record of successful sales leadership, management and of teams and individuals, developing talent and managing performance. Relevant experience with proven track record of success in sales (marketing position a plus) within biotech/pharmaceutical industry. In-depth knowledge of the UK healthcare system Commercial pharmaceutical industry knowledge and experiences such as account-based selling, stakeholder management, and marketing tactics implementation. Experience in launch processes. Ability to work in an agile and effective way in leading teams and adapting to changing market dynamics. Excellent working knowledge of healthcare environment and evolving landscape. Ability to operate and lead effectively in a matrix structure. Why Sun Pharma?
