We are currently partnering with one of the UK’s most trusted social housing providers based in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Officer to join their passionate team on a temporary basis.This will be a 3-month contract initially, working full-time hours. It offers hybrid working, and only requires office attendance one day per week - the rest can be spent on patch, or at home.Ideally, the successful candidate for this role will have access to their own vehicle, and a Basic DBS dated within one year.The pay rate for this position is £25.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Overseeing tenancy management and estate issues to a patch of 500 propertiesDealing with Anti-Social Behaviour from minor reports to serious cases, and actively being involved in multi - agency work to resolve any issuesLiaising with external agencies and signposting tenants accordinglyCarrying out regular block and estate inspections, and monitoring health and safety and safeguarding at all timesReporting any repairs issues, and keeping tenants up to date with any progressInvolved in the management of new build properties for all tenancy management issuesConducting tenancy reviews for all properties within the allocated patchReviewing service charges and depreciation when requiredExperience required:Conducting property inspections and monitoring health and safetyUnderstanding of relevant Housing legislation and tenancy agreementsAbility to develop successful and professional relationships with clients, and provide a tailored serviceSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Highly self-motivated, and able to prioritise tasksStrong communication skills and the ability to use your own initiativePassionate in making a difference in the lives of othersWorking hours:37.00 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
