About the team you will be joining at TransPerfect – TechOps:
The TransPerfect TechOps team has been a vital part of the company’s success since its formation 10 years ago – delivering technology and services that have drastically simplified the lives of our clients and colleagues – from workflow improvements for colleagues to core services that form the basis of the company’s GlobalLink platform, to creating scalable client interfaces that allow novice users to navigate complex ecosystems.

Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support our applications on both web and mobile
- Collaborate with cross-functional made up of product managers, quality assurance teams, designers and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement scalable and efficient algorithms and data structures to optimize performance
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend infrastructure
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and enhancements
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address issues
- Develop automation tests/ collaborate with automation engineers to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing
- Work closely with users to provide personalized software support as needed
- Document application support and operational procedures
The minimum we’re looking for (show us what you got if you aren’t a perfect fit):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Deep knowledge of DotNet C#, MSSQL, Entity Framework and related technologies
- Proven experience of Agile methodologies like SCRUM/Kanban
- Knowledge of SOLID principles
- Knowledge of clean code practices
- Ability to work with complex enterprise software architectures
- Database Development in SQL Server or NoSQL Databases
- Some familiarity of Docker
- Experience debugging complex applications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ and Quartz experience is a plus
Work model:
This position is intended to be largely in-office with a focus on flexibility. Today, most of the global team is on a hybrid model ranging between 3-4 days in the office per week. We aim to find an inclusive balance between everyone's personal lives and responsibilities and the value created from in-office collaboration. We work with new team members to find that balance with them while building the trust and collaboration that our team values.
We believe that sharing the same physical space with our colleagues creates a level of trust and understanding that fosters innovation and a sense of purpose.
The socializing and relationships formed from these in-person interactions have created the bonds that make our team successful.
We not only want to encourage people to safely spend time in the office, but also, schedule regular travel between our offices in Europe and the US – and a regular conference where the entire worldwide team is gathered together. Maybe the Metaverse will replace the office some day – but it hasn't yet! Online meetings were a powerful connector during the pandemic – but they don't foster the same connection.
