Network Operations Engineer - Shifts
Location:- Manchester
Shifts:- 24/7 Shifts
Salary:- £42k Inc of shift Allowance + 10% Bonus + Bens
Environment:- Network Operations, MPLS, Cisco, Juniper, Ethernet, Voice, VOIP, SIP, Solarwinds, Nagios, ITIL, Fault finding, Troubleshooting, CCNA, JNCIA, Implementation, 3rd Party Suppliers.
An experienced Network Operations Engineer is required for this provider of telecoms and managed services.
The role is working a shift rotation and is covering 24/7 so experiences of working shifts and being locatable to Manchester is essential for this role.
Duties Include:-
Monitoring of the Network using a variety of tools - Solarwinds, Nagios
Fault Finding on outages and fixing or escalating
Liaising with 3rd Party Providers and customer to resolve network outages
General Maintenance and Health checks of the network
Configuration and planned implementations on the networks
Working within SLA's and keeping everyone informed of progress including Stakeholders
Experiences Required:-
Network Operations experiences to CCNA level
Working shifts and maintaining and monitoring of networks
Troubleshooting incidents within a Telecoms and Cloud environment
Working to ITIL practices
Experiences of networking monitoring tools
This role does carry long term career progression within the company and will be supported on enhancement of technical knowledge of vendors uses.
