WAF Security Engineer required for a 6 to 12-month initial contract working with a Tier 1 bank.

Fully Remote

6 to 12-month initial contract

Up to £750 per day Inside IR35

Akamai experience highly desirable

Experience of implementing WAF in one or more cloud environments (AWS, Google, Azure...)
Understanding of Web application Technologies, Protocols and Security (HTTP, API, TLS, DNS, CDN etc)
WAF deployment, tuning and troubleshooting experience.
Experience of implemented Bot and DOS/DDos protection
Good knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, JavaScript ect.) and automation experience
