New Business Account Executive
Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits including monthly commission
Based in Basildon, Essex
The Client:
We are partnered a dynamic, creative, Independent Insurance Brokers based in Essex. They provide support to their Commercial Clients covering a multitude of policy's from General Commercial, Motor, Construction and PI.
They are now keen to recruit a New Business Account Executive to continue to develop their current opportunities and explore new pastures for growth.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for generating New Business within the Commercial SME arena, inclusive of Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Manufacturing, Shops/Offices, and Construction.
- You will have the freedom to use your own initiative and to grow the book of business, where you will earn monthly commission of any new business brought in.
- You will build and maintain strong relations with new and existing Clients.
- Attend Client and Underwriter meetings with the Director.
- Collates and communicates clients' requirements to ensure appropriate marketing of the risk
- Prepares or checks market presentations
- Liaises with and advises clients, investigating and resolving queries
- Is aware of, and satisfies, territory, tax and legislation requirements
- Responds to market and third party queries as appropriate
- Produces high quality and compliant market documentation ensuring appropriate authorisations are secured
- Takes responsibility for data entry to Acturis, credit control and chasing subjectivities where required
Experience
- You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Executive.
- Experience within Commercial Insurance is essential.
- You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ideally you will have experience in using Acturis.
- You will be proactive, enthusiastic and be confident.
