The role of a Business Development Manager within Langton Howarth is to win new client accounts and achieve PSL status with accounts companywide/internationally. It will be heavily telephone and database driven and will consist of identifying new companies/prospective accounts in the clinical diagnostics, laboratory supplies, cell & gene therapy, CDMO, pharmaceutical and biotech verticals, and resourcing vacancies and PSL opportunities to secure repeat, long term business and revenue from these client accounts internationally.
This will include intensive research into the scientific and clinical markets we serve, market mapping companies and sites within the industry, generating vacancy leads from new clients as well as existing accounts and booking in telephone appointments/face to face meetings with hiring managers/decision makers to secure PSL status and then it is for our team of delivery consultants to fill their job vacancies.
