My client, a rapidly growing leader in the hair care industry, is seeking a talented and driven Product Development Manager to join their dynamic team.
As the NPD Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the development of new and innovative hair care products that meet the evolving needs of customers globally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product development strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, leveraging market insights and consumer trends.
- Lead the end to end product development process, from concept ideation to commercialization, ensuring products meet quality, performance and regulatory standards.
- Partner with R&D, marketing, manufacturing and other stakeholders to drive seamless execution of product development initiatives, ensuring alignment and communication across teams.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets and resources
- Identify, evaluate, develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost effectiveness and timely delivery of products and components.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the product development lifecycle to maintain integrity, consistency and safety standards throughout the development lifecycle.
You:
- Proven experience in product development within hair care, cosmetics or personal care, with a track record of successful product launches.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for market trends, consumer insights and competitor landscapes.
