We provide cutting-edge packaging solutions to our clients and are looking for a dynamic New Product Development Manager to join our team.
Role Overview: As the New Product Development Manager, you will drive innovation and growth within our moulded fibre portfolio. This involves overseeing product development, managing supplier relationships and collaborating with clients to meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Product Development: Lead product development from concept to commercialisation, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Supplier Management: Identify and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Material and Product Review: Assess materials and products, keeping up with market trends.
- Customer Management: Serve as the point of contact for bespoke customers, developing customised packaging solutions.
- Process Management: Oversee and improve the product development process.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products meet regulatory standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, operations and quality assurance teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements and cost savings.
- Cost Management: Optimise development costs and ensure profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, packaging science, or related field.
- Experience in new product development within packaging, moulded fibre experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong project management and supplier management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability principles is a plus.
