Job Description

We are looking for an experienced risk professional to join our Retail team as a Non-Financial Risk Consultant on a 6-month FTC.

In this role you will support the Conduct and Operational Risk Managers in the monitoring and oversight of non-financial risk across our Retail division,

You will also be responsible for the regular review of current and proposed regulatory changes and provide advice to the business on their impacts,

Stakeholder management skills are key; you will face off to first line teams and challenge and review their ideas and potentially have the opportunity to present at Risk Committee meetings.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and support the business on timely responses of significant risk events,
  • Identify and escalate Consumer Duty risks to achieve good customer outcomes,
  • Prepare risk reports and MI packs,

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong regulatory knowledge and experience of FCA rules and practical application,
  • Good understanding of the principles of risk management, especially in relation to operational, regulatory and customer focused risks,
  • Experience of interpreting and applying regulatory rules to practical scenarios,
  • Strong influencing and presentation skills,
