Job Description

Principal TasksThe ultimate objective of this role is to oversee the delivery of an efficient and enhanced end to end operations service to our Clients and our Brokers/ Account Executives. This includes.Responsibility of the performance, development and day to day operations of the technical team. You will need excellent communication and commercial ability to make business decisions and work with the wider insurer market.Oversee the service delivery provided by our Technical Team and 3rd party providers, ensuring positive collaboration and support.Maintain awareness of the end-to-end processes relative to IBA, Premium Processing, Claims and all middle office tasksSome of the key activities of this role are:Manage operational risk by ensuring invoice debiting is actioned by due date and consistently review efficienciesManage day to day operations of all Binders, Schemes and facilities within businessPoint of referral for enquiriesTracking and achieving all KPl's and SLA'sAssisting in the preparation of key placement documentation ensuring meeting with minimum standards, following Bishopsgate processes and market ComplianceInitiating and overseeing the processing function, supporting the processing technicians with the resolution of queries as appropriateDeliver effective technical training to develop competency across the businessResponsible for policy wordings all other technical documentsMaintaining an accurate and compliant record of the placement via GXBResponsibility for internal technical file audit framework and deliveryOversight and ownership of key contractual dates, including payment warranties, subjectivities and NOC’sWork with Clients and Brokers to address Cash & Credit Control issues, identify route cause of any recurring issues and propose changes to the process to bring improvementsThe candidate should:establish and maintain relationships with key Ardonagh Specialty colleagues, and stakeholders including;Risk & ComplianceIT and DigitalManagement InformationBusiness Entity TeamIBAPremium Processing (including Pro)Claimsensure adherence to all compliance requirements, including but not limited to:Contract CertaintyClient and Market Due DiligenceKPI’sAudit processesAuthorisations matrixCompetencies RequiredComprehensive understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes.Class specific technical knowledgeDesire to learn new tasks and new lines of businessAbility to communicate with Clients and colleagues in a professional and respectful mannerProactive and assertive role within the team and across the businessThe ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when requiredExcellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple issues/ challenges simultaneouslyAbility to standardize the processes within the team where applicable and to implement efficienciesAbility to embrace Change and embed new processes as required by the LeadershipComputer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packagesExperience in the use of London Market processes and systems
