About Our ClientOur client is a global leader in their field, having been on operation in Australia for over 50 years.They have two large production sites, operate 24.7 and and all maintenance is in-house.This team is tenured, most started as apprentices!Job DescriptionIn this newly created role, you will be supported by a team of tenured staff and two site managers to drive strategic changes to minimise downtime, optimise equipment life cycles and ensure ongoing plant reliability. This could look like:Managing a team of 4-5Owning and driving the preventative maintenance schedule using Industry 4.0Managing and recommending CI initiativesManaging the root cause analysis for downtimeLead and managing engineering projectsEffective budgeting and CAPEX managementDrive a strong safety cultureThe Successful ApplicantOur successful candidate is degree qualified and has at least 5 years relevant management experience. You also have:Demonstrated experience implementing new preventative maintenance measuresStrong people management experienceWorking knowledge of Industry 4.0Understanding of general finance and budgetingStrong technical skills and ability to trouble shoot using manualsStrong change management skillsTraining in Continuous Improvement and Project Management (Lean, Six Sigma) Will be highly regarded
