37.5 hours per weekAn exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a band 7 Nurse Team Manager/ Ward Manager for our in-patient facility/ Ward A7 at TRFT. The in-patient bed base treats level 2 patients, treating patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and non malignant conditions.
We are currently a 12 bedded haematology unit that is working through a partnership with another local trust that will change the shape of the Rotherham service with Rotherham becoming the single in-patient facility. This will be an interesting time for any new manager who will be able to support the team in the changes.
Therefore we are looking for a knowledge manager who can manage the team with drive, passion, ability and determination to strive for improvements and support changes during this partnership work.

Main duties of the jobTo manage the 35 person strong nursing team and the care given to patients ensuring audit, MAST and education is provided to the team. To manage sickness and absence, to support the team, investigate any incidents and work with matron, Consultants and the CNS team to ensure that patients receive excellent care
