Position: Unit Manager - Senior Nurse (RGN/RNLD/RMN)
Contract type: Full time hours available
Shifts Available:Day shifts available
Rate/Salary: £19.63 per hour (£38,158 per annum based on 38.5 hours per week) + £5,000 welcome bonus

About for home:
The business supports 30 adults living with complex mental health needs and physical disabilities.
The home has three ten-bed units, which gives it a homely and welcoming feel. In 2021, the home had a makeover and now has a smoothie bar, a café, a beauty salon and a pub.
In this role, youll usually work in the same team and with the same service users to ensure continuity of care. This means that youll see the difference you make each and every day.
About the Role:
As a Unit Manager, you will take the role of a senior nurse on duty and have responsibility for a team of nursing and care staff. You will lead by example, delivering hands-on nursing care and providing strong leadership to your team. You will have a person centred ethos and be committed to enriching the lives of the individuals in your care.
Being at the forefront of clinical care delivery you will be responsible in providing strong leadership to develop and improve the standard of daily living. You will be empowered to really make a difference and the nursing home size means you have sufficient time in a day to make a real difference to the lives of those in your care.
You will lead the nurse team during your shifts; you will make certain that we fully meet medical, physical and emotional requirements of adults in your care. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will mentor and motivate colleagues, champion safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.

About You:
You will be a Registered General Nurse/Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse/Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and a minimum of 2 years experience.
You are a well organised individual with outstanding time management skills and are able to make decisions and work using your own initiative whilst working collaboratively within the nursing/care team.
Most importantly you are motivated by helping every individual, whether colleague or service user, to realise their full potential and be treated with dignity and respect.
