Are you an experienced Early Years Educator who is passionate about what you do? Are you driven to provide children with the very best in Early Years Education? Do you have a minimum of two years' management experience? Are you ready to lead our thriving prep school to develop our current term-time only nursery for over 2s into a full-day, year-round nursery care for children from 6 months up?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Manager who wants to lead and develop a new nursery provision, and build a staff team in our brand-new purpose-built nursery, due for completion in June 2023. We are seeking someone who has a strategic mindset, has managed a team, and has strong knowledge of the Ofsted framework.

In return, we offer a warm, friendly, and inclusive working environment and the opportunity to be a member of our Senior Leadership Team. Our benefits package includes a competitive salary up to £45k, generous holiday entitlement, free lunches and significant concessions on childcare and school fees. Start date May 2023, or sooner.

Candidates must have Level 3 childcare qualification as a minimum with 2 years' experience in a managerial role. Further details and an application pack are available on our website or from our HR Manager, Emma Mitchell.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 30 March 2023 at 9.00am. However, applications will be considered in the order in which they are received, and the School reserves the right to make an appointment prior to the closing date should the ideal candidate(s) be identified.

All shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a 'Suitability to work with children: self-declaration form'. This form must be completed and returned to HR prior to the interview taking place.

The Hawthorns School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and an enhanced DBS check.
