Smart Solutions are working with a leading training company, providing tailored training to businesses across a wide range of disciplines, and we are pleased to be recruiting for an NVQ Assessor. The NVQ Assessor post is a permanent/full time position, with an immediate start date, based at Nantgarw, near Pontypridd.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of NVQ and VRQ assessments and/or training programmes. These include Business Administration, Customer Services, IT, Advice & Guidance, Learning & Development, Management and Project Management. Applicants do not have to be competent in all areas but we are looking for an NVQ Assessor who are competent in at least one area.
Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 1.30pm
Ideally the applicant should have experience in the following areas:
- Current occupational competence to ensure an up to date working knowledge of the relevant framework.
- Good communication skills and a flexible approach with the ability to organise and prioritise own workload are essential.
- Applicants must have their own transport and hold a full clean driving licence.
As part of the recruitment process, the successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) application on joining the company, which will be funded by the organisation.
