Job Description

The Role Scendea are currently expanding our business support function and are seeking an Office Administrator to join our UK team either fulltime or as a jobshare working at our Bishop s Stortford Office Mon Fri normal office hours. This role reports into the Business Support Administrator within the Business Support Team. The successful candidate will be a highly organised professional able to multitask and with a strong attention to detail. Requirements Main Responsibilities Completing administrative tasks autonomously including placing orders and bookings including travel within budgets preparing meeting materials office consumables reordering and restocking and p roviding general administrative support to the wider team. Support with daily tasks to ensure the Business Support Team is running effectively and efficiently. Managing reception duties including being a primary point of contact for deliveries and telephone calls into the office. Providing good intraoffice communication including sending out internal communications to the wider team. Communicating with our external suppliers such as cleaners maintenance deliveries etc Completing regular inventory and audit checks and general administrative office procedures. Updating and maintaining records accurately sometimes of a confidential nature. Ensuring compliance from colleagues to Company Policies regarding office working and health and safety. Escalating concerns and issues in a timely manner. Being an Emergency firstaid at work representative and fire warden (training given). Identify and support the development and implementation of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) improvements to the office. Skills and Experience A competent level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook Excel & Word). Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills (both written and oral). An Adaptable flexible and enthusiastic team member. Able to multitask within a fastpaced environment. Be highly proactive and demonstrate initiative. Have a strong sense of integrity and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Ability to work both independently and within a close team. Attention to detail and with a serviceoriented attitude. Experience with Client Relationship Management systems or HR systems would be an advantage.
