An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Onboard System Test and Integration Engineer based in Derby. The Onboard System Test and Integration Engineer will ensure all Alstom products are compliant to all relevant requirements and guidelines.
Role:
The successful candidate will perform system tests and field support of onboard systems. This role is open to candidates with system, electrical or testing experience.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare Test Plans to ensure that all systems meet the project design specifications and requirements
Perform system tests, system integration, test planning and fault analysis of onboard systems
Support lab configuration setup according to technical specifications
Support internal departments, suppliers and clients when required
Participate in technical document reviews
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
Relevant experience within a test lab environment
Desirable:
Experience of ERTMS/ETCS or other safety-critical systems
Programming knowledge (C, C++, C#, or PHP)
