Location: London, near Marylebone

Full Time: 37.5 hours (including nights and weekends)

We are seeking a dedicated Sister/Charge Nurse to join our esteemed Triage team at one of the leading specialist cancer treatment centres, rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and awarded The Macmillan Quality Environment Mark. Our Triage team provides 24/7 nursing advice and care, ensuring patients receive optimal treatment whenever they need it.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of experienced SACT nurses in delivering safe, holistic, and individualized patient care.
  2. Identify potential emergencies and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to manage patients during treatment.
  3. Provide care for patients requiring intervention following a triage call.
  4. Support team development and performance appraisal.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current NMC Nurse registration
  • Post-registration experience in haematology or oncology
  • Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) experience
  • Proficiency in UKONS Triage Tool and managing oncological emergencies
  • Knowledge of systemic anti-cancer treatments and their side effects
  • Previous team leadership and service development experience
