Job Title: Onsite IT Engineer (Dorset)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + £4,800 car allowance
Type Of Employment: 12 month FTC (likely for continual extension 12 months at a time)
Location: Dorset
Working hours: Monday - Friday between shifts between 09:00 - 17:00

We currently have an opportunity for an on-site Engineer to join one of our well renowned partners who operate both on the national and global scale. The Onsite Engineer will be based at our customers site in Dorset where you play an integral role in offering a varied level support to the organisation.
We are looking for an on-site engineer who will:
Be comfortable providing face-to-face Desktop support
Have excellent communication skills
Comfortable conducting office moves new hardware installations and server maintenance
Being involved the following: with triage support tickets and updating users
Data management activities, tape media archiving, data ingestion and integrity checks
Domain health checks, use of active directory, group policies and deskside network patching
Antivirus updates
Reimaging, hardware fixes and general engineering work on site
Though this role is based full time on site in Dorset there may be an occasion where travel could be required to other local sites therefore important you have a full UK driving license. Full training will be provided and due to the nature of the work and business you’ll be required to go through a vetting process to obtain security clearance.
