Reporting to Group Finance Director

A rare opportunity to join the Aztec internal finance team where you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth in our business and to help drive the ongoing development of our internal finance function.

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual with the drive and expertise to deliver the finance function fundamentals on a day to day basis, together with developing the systems and improving the processes that we need to take our internal finance function to the next level.

This role will have ultimately responsibility for cash management across the Group, including line management of the billing, accounts payable and receivables functions across the six jurisdictions in which Aztec operate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for active treasury management across the group to minimise finance costs for the business, including development of an effective balance sheet management policy and implementation of cashflow hedging
  • Ultimate oversight and accountability for jurisdictional and group wide cashflow forecasting
  • Line management responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable and share scheme administration functions (team of ~15)
  • Ownership and development of relevant aspects of the finance system, including contribution to implementation of new ERP system and corresponding process improvements, particularly within the accounts receivable/ billing function
  • Manage accounts payable and expenses, ensuring authorisations are in line with the group delegated authority
  • Full responsibility for oversight of the administration of four Aztec long term incentive schemes, plus finance oversight of payroll
  • Work with the Group Finance Director/ CFO on projects as required

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • Experience of developing and managing a high-performance finance team in a comparable role
  • Track record of effective treasury management in a similar (or larger) sized organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with numerous stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven track record of systems implementation, process improvement and development of management reporting processes
