Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Operations Analyst to join our Multi-Asset Trading client with one year of experience in the financial services industry, specifically within Contracts for Difference (CFDs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operational activities, ensuring smooth execution of trades, accurate reconciliation, and efficient management of financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: Trade Support & Execution: Assist in the execution and settlement of CFD trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor and reconcile trade discrepancies, working closely with traders and other departments to resolve issues promptly. Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved. Reconcile cash, positions, and trades between internal systems and external counterparties. Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, trades, and positions in relevant systems. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support senior management and other stakeholders. Risk Management: Monitor risk exposure related to CFD positions and report any potential issues to the relevant teams. Ensure all operational risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively. Client & Counterparty Interaction: Liaise with clients, brokers, and counterparties to resolve any trade or account-related issues. Provide exceptional client service, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation to improve operational efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. 1 year of experience working with CFDs or in a similar financial services role. Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly equity derivatives, and CFDs. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred: Experience with reconciliation tools and trade processing systems. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to CFDs and other financial instruments.
