<h3>Operations Analyst with established Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund</h3><p>We are looking to speak with bright, analytical Middle Office professionals regarding an opportunity at one London’s top systematic hedge funds. This firm, which manages $5bn+, hires the best talent in the industry. Given that science is at the heart of what they do, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their career in a finance function within a highly automated environment.</p><p>The Operations team is London-based and consists of five people. The team covers the front to back trade flow for the firm (from trade capture, through trade reconciliation to all trade management functions e.g.: trade events; settlement; corporate actions; compression; collateral; and treasury).</p><p>The products traded include the following: bonds; CFDs; credit derivatives; equities; equity swaps; futures; FX forwards/options; and interest rate swaps.</p><p>Principal Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Supporting execution traders across the full trade lifecycle of Futures, CFDs, Credit Default Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps and FX including trade booking, reconciliation, reporting and settlement</li><li>Trade compression for cleared CDS and blended compression for cleared IRS trades in order to reduce counterparty margin exposure and allow efficient rolls process</li><li>Implementation of upcoming corporate actions including trade bookings and where necessary counterparty dispute resolutions</li><li>Cash management reconciliation between cash/custody accounts and administrator</li><li>Treasury and collateral management</li><li>Ensuring that the business is properly and securely controlled and risks are hunted out, and, where necessary, managed and mitigated or removed.</li><li>Building and maintaining close relationships with various in-house teams, in particular the front office, risk and fund accounting, as well as a multitude of counterparties and vendors</li><li>Support of front office for all trading related operational issues</li></ul><p> Qualifications/Skills Required:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a numerical field</li><li>Experience working in Operations / Middle Office in either a Hedge Fund or Investment Bank</li><li>Adept user of MS Excel, particularly with regard to VBA</li></ul><h3>Send me alerts about jobs like this.</h3><p>Please enter your email address to continue setting up an email alert for similar jobs to this one.
