Operations Assistant | The Role
TFG’s success depends on our people, productivity, and procedures operating at peak efficiency and that is exactly why we need an Operations Assistant. We're looking for the right person to grow with this role - a perfect opportunity to start your career in Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Various administrative tasks would include:
- Support in managing and resolving operational issues
- Invoicing clients and tracking payments/expenditure
- Monitoring and optimising vendor relationships
- Exploring and scoping new vendors, and business development opportunities
- Conceive and execute strategies to help streamline and improve business operations
- Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures
- Scheduling physical and virtual meetings
- Preparing and filing forms and other documents
- Keeping updated on industry trends
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional analytical skills to work through high volumes of data and information
- Highly organised, with keen attention to detail and a self-disciplined approach to personal time management
- Ability to work on multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Microsoft Office including Excel
Desirable:
- Interest in and knowledge of economics & trade (basic knowledge of industry news, market trends and current events) and curious to know more
- BSc/BA degree or equivalent
Work Environment & Company Culture
The role is based at TFG’s London office, in Farringdon, with remote working on Fridays.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, in a global market. You’ll be expected to hit the ground running, with the support of a team around you.
