A Software as a Service company in a period of high growth. They're a late-stage startup expanding into new markets on the back of huge successes. They provide software to help smaller companies manage their HR needs effectively, and have recently entered into a new phase of growth and just entered the UK market. They are looking to use the UK as a launchpad to expand into the wider EMEA market.
About The Role
The Operations Associate will play a pivotal role in the company's growing European operations. A very early hire in the EMEA team, the Operations Associate will be assisting with the company's operations as it develops a foothold in the UK and grows into new European markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the complete lifecycle of EMEA-based employees, from their initial onboarding through contract management, payroll, benefits administration, and ongoing compliance.
- Managing the onboarding process for clients, ensuring smooth integration of employees onto the platform and accurate, timely payment processing.
- Collaborating with International Customer Success and Operations teams to streamline local operational procedures in both existing and new markets.
- Validate client invoices, including calculations for local employer costs across the EMEA region.
- Identify operational challenges and propose solutions, whether through enhancements to the platform or the implementation of new operational procedures, with a focus on continual improvement.
- Prioritise delivering exceptional customer service by maintaining a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Assist in establishing and standardising processes for new entities worldwide. Support various initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, optimising workflows, and simplifying operations.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to meet departmental and organisational requirements.
About You
- At least 2 years' experience in an operations or finance role is required, ideally in a dynamic tech, SaaS, or startup company. Experience in a EOR or PEO environment is preferable but not required.
- You will be a problem solver, able to analyse and tackle a variety of problems as and when they rise.
- Strong project management skills and a demonstrable ability to work across multiple streams and priorities without any issues.
- Highly systematic and organised.
- Experience across other European markets is highly preferential, as are European language skills.
- Highly detail orientated and capable of working within dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environments.
