About Them

A Software as a Service company in a period of high growth. They're a late-stage startup expanding into new markets on the back of huge successes. They provide software to help smaller companies manage their HR needs effectively, and have recently entered into a new phase of growth and just entered the UK market. They are looking to use the UK as a launchpad to expand into the wider EMEA market.

About The Role

The Operations Associate will play a pivotal role in the company's growing European operations. A very early hire in the EMEA team, the Operations Associate will be assisting with the company's operations as it develops a foothold in the UK and grows into new European markets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the complete lifecycle of EMEA-based employees, from their initial onboarding through contract management, payroll, benefits administration, and ongoing compliance.
  • Managing the onboarding process for clients, ensuring smooth integration of employees onto the platform and accurate, timely payment processing.
  • Collaborating with International Customer Success and Operations teams to streamline local operational procedures in both existing and new markets.
  • Validate client invoices, including calculations for local employer costs across the EMEA region.
  • Identify operational challenges and propose solutions, whether through enhancements to the platform or the implementation of new operational procedures, with a focus on continual improvement.
  • Prioritise delivering exceptional customer service by maintaining a proactive, "can-do" attitude.

  • Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to meet departmental and organisational requirements.

About You

  • At least 2 years' experience in an operations or finance role is required, ideally in a dynamic tech, SaaS, or startup company. Experience in a EOR or PEO environment is preferable but not required.
  • You will be a problem solver, able to analyse and tackle a variety of problems as and when they rise.
  • Strong project management skills and a demonstrable ability to work across multiple streams and priorities without any issues.
  • Highly systematic and organised.
  • Experience across other European markets is highly preferential, as are European language skills.
  • Highly detail orientated and capable of working within dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environments.

We are committed to helping our clients build diverse teams and we promote & practice inclusive recruiting. All applicants will be considered without discrimination.
