As we continue to expand and revolutionize the delivery industry, we are seeking a talented and motivated Operations Lead to join our team. Your Mission at CYCLE As the Operations Lead for the UK, you will play a pivotal role in steering CYCLE's growth and operational excellence in our newest market. We are looking for a hands-on individual who is willing to get their hands dirty with hardware and also excel in customer-facing interactions. Your responsibilities will span various facets of operations, team leadership, strategic development, and market expansion, ensuring that our high standards are maintained both behind the scenes and directly with our customers. Operations Management: Set up our operations from scratch with support from Central Ops and HQ. Possess a hands-on approach and be consistently available to assist customers. Lead and oversee the business, with a focus on cost-effective and rapid growth. Introduce KPIs and enhance operational efficiency to maintain a healthy bottom line. Team Leadership and Development: Hire, lead and mentor an excellent team of mechanics and operational staff.  Cultivate a performance-driven, motivational and positive culture and foster teamwork from day one. Develop and Implement Growth Strategies: Assist in formulating and articulating the expansion strategy for the UK. Grow CYCLE's market share and identify opportunities to increase our customer base across various segments. Show a thorough understanding of the London business landscape, including local market dynamics, regulatory environment and established professional networks. Familiarity with operational challenges and opportunities unique to the city will be highly valued. Collaboration and Communication: Maintain strong communication with HQ, providing regular updates and feedback on goals, strategy and market development.  Work with cross-functional teams to address specific requirements in the UK. Report directly to the Head of Operations. Financial Oversight: Manage the regional budget and financial health for the UK. Your skills and qualifications Proven track record in Supply Chain, Logistics, Central Operations, Consulting or similar roles with leadership experience, preferably in multi-country operations. Hands-on mentality: You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and are happy to physically assist where necessary. Expertise in managing day-to-day operations with a keen eye for process optimization. Profound analytical mindset and a data-driven approach for decision-making. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence across diverse cultural landscapes. Proven ability to foster productive and harmonious team dynamics. Prior experience in the Mobility, Delivery or a similar industry, especially in a multinational context, is a big plus. Fluency in English is mandatory. German is advantageous.
