A well known global Hedge Fund who manage in excess of $8bn are actively seeking to hire a Operations Manager in their London office. The hire one reflective of the funds unrivalled recent growth is a new position within the London based Operations function.

Reporting directly into the Head of Operations you will be responsible for supporting the build out of the existing Middle Office function and taking ownership of the strategic growth/direction of it moving forward. The role will involve the management of a team of three from day one with scope to add additional headcount. Daily BAU makes up a large part of the position but the successful applicant will also be responsible for leading projects and improving internal processes.
The business are looking for best in class talent from either the banking or buy side. Candidates must have a minimum of five years Operations experience with strong ETD/Futures/Options product coverage. Candidates without the relevant product coverage will not be considered for this position. Previous management experience is highly desired although not a prerequisite.
