Operations Manager Electrical Maintenance and Capital Works Contracts Leicester (+ flexible working in the West Midlands) c£60,000 to £70,000 per year Plus car allowance, bonuses and excellent company benefits The Opportunity: We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a number of high value electrical maintenance and capital works contracts in the Midlands.

You will have the support of an established team of Service Managers and approximately 50 operational staff to ensure contracts are delivered in line with KPIs and SLAs, and that client satisfaction levels are maintained.

This role would suit an individual with strong operational/service management experience and client facing skills, with a background in highways, utilities, telecoms, communications, energy, civils, or any other engineering environment where adherence to health and safety is critical.

Screening Criteria: A proven background in a lead role for an engineering team comprising of field engineers A strong understanding of commercial contract documentation (JCT, NEC, etc.) Have a dedicated approach to ensuring health and safety standards and processes are maintained Solid people and client management skills, being able to manage both up and down Meticulous nature in ensuring a high standard of completion is the norm Exposure to roadside traffic management, street works or highways technology would be an asset The ability to managing project finances, P&L and project ledger would be beneficial Role and Responsibilities: Manage a mixture of capital works and maintenance contracts which are at various different stages of their contract lifecycle Ensure that all works and operations meet the standards outlined in the contractual requirements Manage the financial performance of contracts including monitoring budgets to ensure targets are met.

Regularly liaise and meet with clients to monitor and maintain satisfaction levels Foster an environment where health and safety policies and processes are paramount Improve the team s ability to hit KPIs and SLAs through effective man management and upskilling Scrutinise projects and contracts to ensure the best interests of the company are maintained
