We are excited to present an outstanding career opportunity with a highly reputable global organisation based within the electronics manufacturing industry for an Operations Manager for the UK, based on site in Reading.


About the Job: As a Country Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organisations ongoing success by overseeing a diverse team across the UK, with a team size of around 75 employees and 4-5 direct reports. This role offers a unique chance for a proven operations management professional to thrive in a renowned industry leader that values technical and engineering expertise.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous operational excellence by ensuring performance, managing customer requirements, and collaborating with internal business development and sales teams.
  • Develop and grow relationships with Major Accounts to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Take full responsibility for meeting key customer performance metrics, including ship on time and revenue
  • Deliver and forecast business results through strategic planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams using software such as Salesforce.
  • Drive operational transformation initiatives to remain competitive, improve efficiency, quality and cost.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for IT and analytics, digital transformation, and process improvements.
  • Work closely with the European and worldwide Delivery structure and Engineering Team to maintain high-quality standards and compliance.
  • Promote and foster a culture of openness, transparency, and inclusiveness within the team.


Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Business, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Technical or high-level understanding of multiple customer industries such as Aerospace/Defense, Wireless Manufacturing, Electronics etc.
  • Experience with CRM & ERP systems and databases, Salesforce highly desirable.
  • Proven people management experience, with the ability to motivate and positively impact employees
  • Willingness to travel periodically as the job requires. (25% travel)
