I am recruiting for a fantastic Operations Manager to join an amazing team within a leading leisure operator in Bromley. This is an incredibly exciting Leisure management opportunity and definitely a leisure job not to be missed! This is an ideal role for an individual who is motivated by managing a team of amazing Swim Teachers and Life Guards, commercially driven, and truly passionate about overseeing wet side operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for the Swim Programme and all areas of wet side operations within the leisure centre. The perfect candidate has an Operations background and has a Pool Plant qualification.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure Health and Safety procedures are in place and adhered to in all westside operations within the centre.
2. Deliver on maximizing the Swim School occupancy and assist with swim school booking processes while overseeing feedback & enquiries and always ensuring exceptional customer service.
3. Promote the Swim program using marketing collateral via social media platforms and outreach.
4. Train and develop the Swim Teachers and Life Guards through performance reviews and ensuring qualifications are up to date.
5. Keep up to date with new industry trends to maintain a high level of knowledge and best practices.
6. Meet financial targets and KPIs including those for customer service occupancy revenue payroll costs and participation levels.

Requirements:

1. Previous Operations experience or management.
2. Flexibility as duty manager shifts are requirement for this role and weekend availability.
3. Level 2 Swim Teaching certification (desirable)
4. NPLQ (desirable)
5. First Aid at Work certification desirable.
6. Ability to show knowledge of lifeguard skills aquatic event management and water safety.
7. Drive to succeed and grow the learntoswim program.
