Shift Operations Manager
Are you experienced in driving operational efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
Do you have extensive experience as a production manager within consumer manufacturing?
Are you an organised leader with people and process at the forefront of your mind?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a Manufacturing business on the search for a Shift Operations Manager. This is a perm role based in Blackpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive performance of your team and support functions to deliver efficiency.
- Seek out new and innovative ways to deal with production issues, utilizing CI techniques.
- Ensure compliance to all site Health and Safety Regulations
- Execute the shift training plan to improve performance / flexibility and organise any additional training through gap analysis that may be required.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years managing teams within a complex production environment e.g. multiple SKUs, product changeovers, packaging variants etc.
- Understands how KPIs are developed, and a track record of achieving results and ‘raising the bar’. Must be familiar with Production Performance Measurements.
- Strong management skills and an ability to operate and make decisions under pressure, whilst having your team at the forefront of your mind. Must be people orientated.
- Vast experience of CI within manufacturing.
Salary Up to £45k + benefits.
