Key skills required for this role Permanent Way CRE/PTO Important Permanent Way CRE/PTO Job description IntroductionAs a Pway CRE, You will play a crucial role in managing the engineering team, planning works, reviewing designs, and ensuring the smooth operations of the Permanent Way department. This is a contract position within IR35.Key Responsibilities Manage the engineering team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projectsPlan and oversee all works related to the Permanent Way departmentReview and approve designs to meet safety and regulatory standardsOccasionally attend site to provide technical expertise and supportUtilize your significant experience in track renewals to ensure the successful execution of projectsDemonstrate a strong background and expertise in stressing and tamping processesShowcase your expertise in plain line and switches and crossings (S&C) worksHold a valid PTS ticket for working on the rail networkStressing ticket preferred, but not essential Job Requirements Principle Technical Officer/Lead engineer experienceExperience as a P-Way CRE within the Rail industryProven ability to lead and manage an engineering teamAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize works to meet project deadlinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standardsExcellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders Share manages this role Matchtech is a STEM Recruitment Specialist, with over 35 years’ experience
