  • Organise legal training/development days for the UK audio and publishing businesses. Also working with us to create and organise ‘away days’ for the Legal Team bi-annually.
  • Participate in our regular Legal team calls/meetings and ensure actions are followed up.
  • Supporting incoming/outgoing legal trainees or other team members so they are set-up and settled into Bauer quickly and leading on any associated admin.
  • Proactively managing law firm relationships with counterparts at our panel law firms, to include ensuring all invoices are processed, monitoring retainer arrangements and arranging any meetings and social events.
  • Liaising with the IT department on adhoc issues for the General Counsel and preparing PowerPoint presentations as and when required.
  • Ensure relevant board/planning packs are compiled on time with enough prep time before the meeting to read and digest.
  • Manage all Legal Team appraisals and pay reviews, to include gathering all feedback, setting up meeting well in advance and submitting all relevant paperwork to HR in good time.
  • Submit and manage expenses efficiently and on time.
  • Assist the General Counsel and Legal Team to manage the workflow of current projects.
  • Liaise effectively with PA’s in other parts of the business to ensure smooth running of the department.
  • Maintain paper and online legal filing systems, making sure they are kept up to date with the relevant documents.
  • Knowledge of IT software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook and Teams
  • Experience in managing a busy and changing diary
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
