An excellent opportunity to join a well-established small to medium size agency who are experiencing consistent growth. My client is looking for a mature and grounded paid media talent that can grow with them and deliver quality work with their clients. This is a relaxed agency that believe in work life balance and would love to work with someone that is looking for stability and security with a humble yet exciting proposition.

This is hands on role, however they are open to a strong senior account manager that can also optimise campaigns. A team lead or head of are also of interest.


ROLE


Delivery


• Effectively understand your clients’ goals / needs.

• Manage your team day to day and operations to the:

• highest possible quality of customer service / optimisations

• while meeting client ROI / business growth objectives

• Monitor performance of all accounts (ideally daily, but at least weekly)

• Identify areas where performance needs improvement and address.

• Build strong relationships with clients and lead periodic key meetings.

• Build strong relationships with search engines and lead periodic key meetings.

• Undertake a strategic ‘hands on’ role on any priority accounts and ensure your team have all other accounts covered (including short- and long-term plans).

• Identify areas where team members need training, organise and participate in delivery of structured training including the latest search engine updates.

• Recruit new AMs: screening, interviewing, deciding on hiring, delivering and coordinating training and onboarding.

• Conduct H1 / H2 reviews alongside agency management and proactively undertake regular 1o1 meetings with your team.


Personal


• Ensure you are developing your own skill-set throughout.

• Confidence and quality of presentations during client and internal meetings.

• Build strong working relations with other employees and wider company.

• Respond to management, client and team (stakeholders) in a timely manner.

• Lead by example.


Business Development


• Help deliver winning new business pitches including PPC audits & proposals.

• Attend industry / sales / awards events.

• Monthly blogging and making case studies from time to time.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


• Strong English (other languages a plus).

• +4 years PPC and wider Biddable Media experience.

• Proven track record of client ROI / growth / happiness

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint skills).

• Advanced knowledge of search engines platforms / products, analytics etc.

• Deep understanding of paid search, e-commerce and digital marketing.

• Creating automated budget trackers / developing automated reporting.

• Experience of using data aggregators ideal (e.g. Funnel/Supermetrics) (desirable)


PERSONAL QUALITIES


• Quick learner with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

• You like maths/data crunching and are happy to be working in Excel (A LOT).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).

• Leadership skills, pro-active team player and able to work autonomously.

• Highly organized and methodical work habits.

• Desire to build a career as an expert in paid search at the top of industry.

• Prepared to put some extra hours in when we are busy or your clients need it.
