Job Description

A studio based in Central London is looking to appoint an experienced Part II assistant to work in a residential, urban design and masterplanning team in London.

This studio work with housing associations, developers and London boroughs on a multitude of complex sites including brownfield. They are stable, with a steady pipeline of work and one of Covid's success stories. This is an opportunity to be a part of a team of architects and designers in stages 1-4 using Revit and Rhino. It is a collaborative and supportive culture where you'll see through early concept stages on UK projects. The team is mixed levels and looking for future leaders and therefore you'll be able to learn from peers and seniors. The role will develop your design skills in the early stages of projects.


Responsibilities:

- Work on large-scale residential and masterplanning developments including mixed-use and commercial

- Work on the early design stages of projects; with the ability to contribute within the team up to RIBA Stage 4

- Initiate strong design ideas and join a collaborative design process


Experience:

  • Over 2 years of experience post-Part II
  • Experienced in putting together tender packages
  • Strong Revit skills are a priority
  • Strongly curated portfolio of work of large-scale projects especially up to Stage 3.
  • Creative thinker and hands-on with strong attention to detail
  • Evidence of design skills, ideally demonstrated through examples of own drawings / visuals
  • Evidence of design sensibility through the way your project examples are presented
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK



This studio has a very happy team who don't work long hours. The practice has a 4 days office, 1-day wfh (Friday) and flexible starting and finish times.
