Our client are a dynamic and growing private healthcare company based in Exeter. Their team consists of dedicated healthcare professionals. As they continue to expand, they recognise the need to enhance our financial oversight and strategic planning capabilities, which has led us to seeking a skilled Part-Time CFO to join our team.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to work part-time with our leadership team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and operations, ensuring we continue on our path of growth and success. This position will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Provide insights and analysis on financial reports and trends.
  • Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
  • Serve as the lead financial spokesperson for the company.
  • Work with outsourced accounting teams to ensure proper compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with senior management to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the financial planning for new projects, including feasibility analysis and ROI calculations.
  • Drive initiatives in financial literacy and education across the company.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, economic trends, and industry conditions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a similar senior financial managerial position.
  • Strong experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in data analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems efficiently.
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software.

Job Benefits

£600 per day rate.
