Description This role has a starting salary of £26,777 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.This is an 18 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.We are excited to be hiring two new Administration Assistants to join our fantastic Partnership Team. The team is based in Woodhatch Place in Reigate and focuses on the implementation of domestic fire safety and fire prevention within our communities.This role will be based primarily at Woodhatch Place, however may involve working in a variety of locations across Surrey and include collaboration with other Fire and Rescue Services. About the RoleYou will be working closely with the Stations, including the planning of Safe and Well Visits visits and diary management. You will regularly communicate with the public and liaise with partner agencies, including Adult Social Care, ensuring that all requests and enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner. Your role will help ensure that people in the community who are most at risk are provided with support and ongoing intervention for Fire Safety.In this role you will report into the Partnership and Volunteer Managers and your interaction will be across the whole Partnership Team's remit, which includes:Organising daily allocation of our domestic Safe and Well Visits from partner agenciesOrganising station diaries and booking out the daily Safe and Well Visits for themReceiving various forms of communication from members of the public and responding in a professional mannerHelping support organised events and community engagementsProviding support in the volunteer's department with advertising work requests and event attendanceShortlisting CriteriaWe are looking for a great communicator with a sound understanding of computer programmes such as Word, Excel, Teams etc, but who would also be happy to learn about internal software systems and be able to use these effectively to carry out the role.To be considered for shortlisting your CV and personal statement will need to clearly evidence the following and the experience and knowledge criteria listed in the attached job description:You are an organised team player and are motivated to get things done!You are motivated to help people by giving them the information they need to stay safe and reduce the occurrence of incidents which have a devastating impact on familiesYou are able to work with groups from a wide range of backgroundsYou have some experience of working with people in need of extra care and supportYou can motivate others to make positive changes to the way people live and workYou are confident in the use of Microsoft packages and softwareIf you are, we would like to hear from you!Contact UsPlease contact us for any questions relating to the role.
