RMS is collaborating with a prestigious automotive client, and we are seeking several PDI Operatives to join our dedicated team. Our client is renowned for their comprehensive vehicle services, including storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch, and transportation. We invite you to join our valeting team to help us maintain and enhance their top-notch service quality.Job Details: Location: CorbyPosition: PDI OperativeType: Temporary OngoingWorking Hours: 37.5hours per week. Monday-Friday. Day Shift.Salary: £13.00 per hour. Overtime and Unsociable hours at an Increased rate. About the role?Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Workshop Manager and team leaders, you will be required to perform various inspection checks on newly manufactured vehicles, completing a full Pre-Delivery Inspection, including compound handling, to prepare them for dealerships.Key responsibilities of the Role: Responsible for carrying out pre delivery inspection checks including: Removal or manufacturing vehicle packaging, installation of transmit protections, fluid level checks, function checks, check for any spare items required, Dring and adding model specification protections.Responsible for performing appropriate testing on vehicles including: Checking they meet interior specification, check and on-board computer and electrical accessories, testing all light and safety features.Responsible for performing inspections and quality checks including: Inspecting the exterior of the vehicle for damage, check the interior, check spare wheel and jack.Report any damage and discrepancies to the management team.Completing all relevant paperworkTo ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.To maintain ISO 9002 procedure at all times.Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function. About you? To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to work the specified shift times above.The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the automotive industry in a quality related function.The ideal candidate will have the ability to work as a team but also independently.The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards their work. They will be able to remain calm under pressure and have a strong work ethic.The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of health and safety and cooperate with managers to comply with Health & Safety regulations.
