Overview Lookers Stockport RenaultContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: OTE £40,000 (including £25,000 - £34,000 basic depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus)Hours: (42) Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, and Saturday mornings on a rota.Our Aftersales Manager at Stockport Renault is recruiting for a Prep Technician to join their friendly team, working in a fast-paced workshop environment. Whilst working alongside experienced technicians, you will play a vital role in the team, carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles. Our Aftersales Manager will provide on-going support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role. If you have a level 3 NVQ in light vehicle maintenance and repair (or equivalent), whether you work in a dealer group or independent garage, we want to hear from you! If you also have an MOT Tester qualification this would be extremely advantageous. Responsibilities Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles including…Fitting number platesCarrying out checks in line with manufacturers guidelinesFitting any additional accessories requested by the customerVehicle health check and report any further work which may be required Qualifications The ideal candidate will have minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience, and a full and valid UK driving licence.
