Job Description

Your Mission:
In this critical role, you will be responsible for modifying the PDMS 3D-Model of nuclear plants to reflect significant site changes. You will play a crucial role in our Bristol team, supporting our mission in nuclear projects. Your future team will rely on your expertise to ensure the accuracy and consistency of design modifications.
Responsibilities:
Modify the PDMS 3D-Model of the plants, ensuring changes from the site are integrated.
Perform 2D and 3D modelling for various disciplines including components, civil structure, and HVAC.
Support the Layout team by addressing site queries and providing technical analysis.
Conduct 2D-3D checks and produce technical documents for construction support.
Ensure quality processes are followed and perform quality control tasks.
Facilitate communication between layout engineers, calculation engineers, and other team members.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Proficiency in Aveva PDMS/E3D and Solidworks is absolutely essential
Design office experience with multidisciplinary engineering knowledge
Fluent in English
Experience in industries such as Nuclear, Nuclear Decommissioning, Environment
Desirable:
Experience in plant layout engineering
Previous experience in the nuclear industry or related fields such as nuclear decommissioning or environmental engineering.
