Main Purpose

The People Business Partner is responsible for providing both operational and strategic HR support across Cornerstone, working with both colleagues and leaders to deliver the People Agenda.


Reporting to the People Manager, the People Business Partner will be an instrumental part of the People team and will be empowered to make decisions that will help shape the future of Cornerstone.


The focus of this role is to develop key relationships with leaders ensuring that they are equipped to drive colleague engagement and performance, and to define and support initiatives that ensure Cornerstone has the skills and capabilities required to be a market leading business.


With a strong emphasis on operational HR, this is a hands-on role, and therefore it is essential this person can work well within a team.


The People Business Partner will act as deputy to the People Manager during periods of absence.

Required Skills

  • Broad, generalist HR experience including Business Partnering and across the areas of employee relations, reward and recognition and performance management.
  • Experience of TUPE
  • Experience Working in a fast paced, Matrix Organisational Structure in the services sector.
  • Delivery of people projects in at least two varying disciplines (performance Management, Change, Reward, Development)
  • CIPD or part CIPD qualified.


Desired

  • Experience working in a telco or property organisation
  • Knowledge of Processes relating to HR system implementation
